Givenchy 2012 Fall/Winter Shark-Print Hoodie

French fashion house Givenchy‘s latest offering is a spin-off to their pre-Fall/Winter 2012 shark print T-shirt and sweatshirt. The open jaw shark-print hoodie is yet another alluring piece that exhibits Givenchy’s streetwear meets high-fashion aesthetics. Here, the house uses a black/grey hoodie as canvas, producing an eloquent dream-like composition with the assistance of a few mermaids, five-point stars, and a carnivores shark jaw that sprawls across the chest and shoulders. Even as the artwork draws on heavy influences from 17th century European art, the garment still remains immensely current, again exhibiting creative director Riccardo Tisci‘s Gothic design work in contemporary abstract manner.
