Continuing his rise to production prominence, XXYYXX lets loos this bass-heavy rendition of Beyoncé‘s “Check On It,” which was featured on Destiny’s Child’s greatest hits album #1’s. A lot of things have changed since Bey first unleashed the song featuring Texas rapper Slim Thug in 2004 but due to his minimalistic yet unorthodox approach, the Florida producer succeeds in providing the catchy tune with a whole new edge. The sonic combination between XXYYXX and Beyoncé is a great one which will require an official collaboration in the near future. Just remember XXYYXX’s “About You” where he employed a sample of Beyoncé’s “End of Time.” Enjoy!
