A 17-foot buffalo hide teepee that is hand-sewn and hand-painted with indigo dye by Hiroki Nakamura will be on display for the Le Cabinet de Curiosités being held at Andreas Murkudis in Berlin starting November 22. Running through January 19, the store will highlight unique pieces – all for sale – by 50 designers, artists and fashion brands. Other key contributions include Julien David’s “Magic Coat” and Stephanie Schneider’s hand-stitched diamond-and-sapphire-trimmed evening dress inspired by jazz singer Patty Waters’s version of “Black Is the Color of My True Love’s Hair.”
