SWIMS was born of the need to brave slushy streets, freezing winds and pouring rain without resorting to unseemly footwear and a change of shoes. Essentially a modern galosh, SWIMS’ original products provided wearers with a practical slip-on, slip-off option over their favorite shoes, regardless of weather. The label has since expanded to include a wider array of footwear options including driving shoe, brogue and sneaker silhouettes, each one featuring water-resistant construction and anti-slip soles. New for Spring/Summer 2013 are new footwear iterations in bold, seasonal colors, along with a fitting selection of accessories — bright yellow umbrellas and weather-resistant bags among them.
