Pierre Balmain has gone strap-happy with its latest shoe, the Black Strapped hi-top sneakers. The shoe packs in a host of details within its dramatic silhouette including criss-crossed tie accents with silver eyelets on both the lateral and medial sides, five velcro straps running the length of the shoe, and Pierre Balmain’s signature embossed tab detailing on the padded tongue. In addition to the Velcro straps the shoe boasts a zipper-entry running down the length of the heel. A padded heel, embossed signature and stud detailing around the heel round out the details on this hi-top. Available at SSENSE, all these details don’t come cheap as the shoe retails for $800 USD.
