In what has been a very busy year for 2 Chainz, the rapper has seen his stock rise in meteoric fashion. For the inaugural episode of MTV’s new show This Is How I Made It, 2 Chainz takes a look back at his life and how he made it in the rap game. Starting with his early life growing up in College Park and hustling on the street, to his love for basketball and the entertainment it provided to the fans as well as hanging out and working with Lil Wayne, the rapper offers an encompassing view of his life. Particularly interesting is when he recounts his days being recruited by Division One Basketball programs only to lose his chance when a stint in incarceration prevented him from taking his SAT’s.
