Mickey Lightfoot - As The Crow Flies (EP)

British emcee Mickey Lightfoot presents his debut EP As The Crow Flies. The rapper from South London, who’s previously been accepted into the Red Bull Music Academy, spoke of the four-track release, stating:

“I didn’t want it to sound like generic dance stuff, but I still wanted it to have a pop slant and it to just be me. I guess part of what I wanted to do was give it some kind of African DNA and but just experiment with the sounds. I wanted to make something that I wanted to listen to.”

The outcomes of which being a concoction of conscious rap, melodic post-garage and modern soul, listen in to the EP below.
