Hermès Men's Universe Project Preview

Hermes Men’s Universe is expanding and with a series of three special events in three different U.S. cities taking place this fall, this is much more than just scientific theory. The events will celebrate a growing spectrum of impressive products for men and reflect the holistic vision of Veronique Nichanian, Hermès Men’s Artistic Director and Designer of Hermès Men’s Ready to Wear. Spurred on by dynamic growth in U.S. men’s sales, the series of fall events will take place in New York, San Francisco and Seattle, effectively showcasing the diverse personalities and lifestyles of Hermès clients across the country. On Madison Avenue, tailoring and made to measure take center stage; the New York location is the only Hermes U.S. Boutique offering both Demi-Measure and Sur Measure services. In San Francisco, a week-long transformation is designed to capture the essence of Nichanian’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection, in which she employed the symbolic motif of a graphic smoke print and palate of deep, dark color. In Seattle meanwhile, a public exhibition of an interactive art installation by renowned digital projection artist Miguel Chevalier will explore the inventive designs of a new collection of eight Heavy Twill silk ties. The Hermès Men’s Universe events will open in New York on October 5 through October 6, in San Francisco from October 19 through October 24, and in Seattle from October 31 through November 6.
