Residing in between Harry Potter and Star Wars, the James Bond Eon Productions movie franchise is the second-highest grossing film series of all time. As the iconic British MI6 agent moves into 2012 with actor Daniel Craig once again at the helm, Skyfall is given another teaser via a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Bond’s underwater fight scene in the forthcoming film. “Not only has he got to concentrate on the fight, he’s got to concentrate on the acting as well,” said the film’s stunt coordinator Gary Powell of the elaborate scene. Filmed on location at Pinewood Studios’ 1.2 million liter Water Stage, the video sheds light on the intense physical demands and logistical choreography that goes into a Bond fight sequence — particularly one that sees the agent demolishing his adversaries while submerged underwater. As Skyfall readies for an October 26 release in UK theaters and November 9 for U.S. audiences, the video adds another layer of appreciation to what is expected to be an already impressive Bond installment.
