With its mid-October release date pushed back due to the mass shooting that took place during a late night screening of The Dark Knight Rises, a new reworked trailer of the anticipated movie Gangster Squad has recently surfaced — reminding us again that this is a movie not to be missed. Starring Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Josh Brolin and Nick Nolte, Gangster Squad is set in the early ’50s and focuses on a group of LAPD detectives and their encounters against a powerful, New York-based crime syndicate. Slated for a new January 11, 2013 release, it is not yet confirmed whether or not the infamous theater scene has been cut from the film entirely.
