Over the past year Anwar Washington, known to many as Anwar Carrots, has quickly risen to the focal point of Fairfax’s recognized group of young creatives. When not occupying his time on the road with friend and colleague Casey Veggies, Anwar devotes himself to Los Angeles-based label Peas & Carrots International currently acting as the design head since 2007. Earning acclaim as a fresh presence within the street fashion sphere, Washington has formed a close-knit collective with partners Casey and Josh Peas, exemplifying the concept and lifestyle the very brand represents.
