Iconic New York-based footwear label PONY renews its longstanding collaborative relationship with the Big Apple’s own Dee & Ricky, this time for an exclusive drop at Foot Locker featuring PONY’s Topstar Hi. A high-top basketball silhouette originally released in 1975 and popularized by David Thompson and Darryl “Chocolate Thunder” Dawkins as they began their NBA careers, this special edition of the retro kicks features an upper of purple Kevlar and printed white leather with tan leather details on the lining, heel stripe and tongue branding tab. Finished with black suede chevron branding and a multicolored motif of letters and numbers throughout the leather portions of the upper, the bold take on the ’70s basketball classic is now available from European Foot Locker storefronts for €85 EUR (approximately $111 USD).
