Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding have been respectively dropping track after track leading up to the releases of their upcoming albums. Hence, it only makes sense that both esteemed artists join forces for “I Need Your Love.” In an overlap of vintage electro and modern pop music, Harris combines heavy electronica/dubstep elements with the beautiful vocals of the British chanteuse. The song clearly marks a new direction for her and it might take a listen or two to get accustomed to this pairing, but it eventually turns infectious as you will see. Goulding’s Halcyon will be released in the UK on October 8 and in the U.S. on October 9 whereas Harris’s 18 Months hits shelves on October 29.
