Apple's Jony Ive, Michael Tchao and Dan Riccio Introduce the iPad Mini

Designed to offer the power and capabilities of the original iPad in a miniaturized package, the newly unveiled iPad Mini is highlighted in this video from Apple. Here, Senior Vice President of Design, Jony Ive; Vice President of iPad Product Marketing, Michael Tchao; and Senior Vice President of Hardware Engineering, Dan Riccio, introduce the tiny tablet and showcase its design and features while comparing it to its larger-scale brethren. Weighing less than a pound and measuring just 7.2mm thin while offering FaceTime HD and 5-megapixel iSight cameras, alongside a 7.9” Multi-Touch display with 1024 x 768 resolution at 163 pixels per inch, the Apple iPad Mini will be available to pre-order beginning this Friday, October 26.
