Fiat has opened the door on a few more details regarding their new 500L Five-door sedan. Sharing the same frontal profile and overall shape as the popular three-door 500, the 500L lengthens and widens the chassis, while offering its passengers a little extra headroom. European configuration options look more robust, offering a turbocharged option to complement the 1.4 liter, 105 horsepower stock option. The United States will most likely only see the 1.4 liter Multiair four-cylinder engine configuration, which is most comparable to its predecessor, the existing Fiat 500. While the Fiat 500L isn’t expected to land on U.S. shores until 2013 (compared to late summer 2012 for Europe), the full specs and photo release will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
