Reigning MVP Derrick Rose is set to release his fourth signature adidas sneaker. Unveiled today, the adiZero Rose 2.5 takes inspiration from both the Crazy Light and adiZero Rose 2, coupling the Crazy Light’s outsole traction system with SPRINTWEB and SPRINTFRAME technologies for optimal grip, added stability and weight reduction. Additionally, a GEOFIT memory foam collar provides added comfort and an improved fit. As a tribute to D-Rose’s hometown, satellite imagery of his former Chicago Englewood neighborhood is embossed on the upper while additional details like Rose’s signature, “ROSE” branding and jersey number “1” are found throughout. Finally, to pay homage to the plethora of fan reviews that land on the net, Rose himself has completed a video review of his own signature kicks. Weighing in at only 11 ounces, the adiZero Rose 2.5 is set to drop in home and away colorways on February 2 at Foot Locker, Eastbay and shopadidas.com for $110 USD.
