Paying its due respects to three of the more notable U.S. cities – New York, Los Angeles and Boston – Converse introduces three iterations of its storied Chuck Taylor All Star Premium in a range it is dubbing the “City Collection.” Tapping recognizable, sports-inspired colors from each respective city, the understated shoes are mocked up in a solitary tumbled leather upper with chromatic nods being given via the laces, midsole, interior lining and upper embroidery. Moving to the interior and underside sole of the each style, Converse solidified the theme via a typified display of each city’s name in a matching colorway. The Chuck Taylor All Star City Collection is now offered through the Converse online store for a limited time. Retail is set at $90 USD.
