The Spring/Summer 2012 collection from Carhartt Work in Progress is an eclectic assortment of both Americana and street-inspired garments. While the brand just recently opened its stateside location back in October, the brand has a longstanding tradition of American heritage pieces executed with authentic details. That being said, a large portion of the collection is more reminiscent of skate culture than workwear – the results of which are seen in an array of graphic items. Bridging the gap between the two subcultures are a pair of camouflage shorts as well as canvas backpack. In essence, Spring/Summer 2012 shows that Carhartt WIP is an exciting offering of garments, especially for those stateside who may still be unfamiliar with collection.
