The Weeknd featuring Kenton Dunson - The Morning (Chi Duly Remix)

With his 2010 effort released October’s Very Cold, which combined acapellas from Drake (aka October’s Very Own) with samples from Coldplay, remix artist, producer and DJ Chi Duly has first gained national recognition. Now, with his latest creation, a splendid rework of “The Morning” by Drizzy’s pal The Weeknd. This version features the vocal talents by Kenton Dunson, best known for his offering Creative Destruction. Listen to it below and read what Chi Duly had to say about the song:

“The melodies are strong on House of Balloons. That’s what really makes these a thrill to work with. Every day songs get remixed that dont need to be. I’m a producer first, but as a DJ the need to remix these was very apparent. I’m entranced by The Weeknd but it’s just too hard to mix into sets unless you’re spinning a private slowjam orgy or something of the like..”
