London-based designer Oliver Spencer returned to the catwalk yesterday to display his upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 collection. As a part of London Fashion Week’s menswear day, the show took place at the Mercer Street studio in Covent Garden and offered a supremely confident offering, rich with boisterous color and texture. To emphasize the appropriate season, an eclectic mix of models took the runway donning sleeveless workers jackets, cropped trousers, as well as a profuse footwear selection of capped-toe oxfords and moc-toe high tops. Notably confident at the collection’s unveiling, Oliver Spencer was recently nominated for a 2011 British Fashion Award for menswear designer.
