J Dilla featuring Phat Kat – Detroit Madness (Snippet)

Back in April, Maureen Yancey, aka known as the mother of the late and great J Dilla, announced that there will be a new posthumous album by her son, called The Rebirth of Detroit. The new album will contain previously unreleased beats by the Motor City legend and will focus on all Detroit artists. According to Ms. Yancey, one of the goals for the project is to unite many of the musicians and producers working in the Detroit hip-hop community. Now, a brief audio preview has emerged in the shape of the snippet of “Detroit Madness” featuring Phat Kat. Listen below and stay tuned!
