To coincide with the 2011 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Nike, Akin and Chicago artist Tara D. have worked together to produce this exclusive “Chicago” colorway of the LunarGlide+ 3 running shoe. One of five designs that make up the “City Pack,” Tara D. explains that the Chicago LunarGlide+ 3 has been inspired by “old signage buried throughout the city and the peacefulness of Chicago’s greatest escape, the Lakeshore.” The “Chicago” LunarGlide+ 3 will be available at the Nike Sportswear store in Chicago and Akin North on the day of the marathon, October 1.
