To celebrate Carhartt’s first season at The Goodhood Store, above is a collaborative lookbook showcasing pieces from the new season collection that will be available instore and online on September 20. And to coincide with this debut, Carhartt and The Goodhood Store present the Carhartt 1889 installation featuring selected archive pieces (some over 100 years old) at the Goodhood Gallery (GAG), London. 1889 is a retrospective of the last 122 years of the Carhartt brand; the Heritage line from Work In Progress is a celebration of a brand that has been dedicated to a mission of providing “Best In Class” apparel for the active worker. This is a display of the union tailoring and production techniques from Carhartt’s Detroit, Michigan roots that made the brand famous and how Hamilton Carhartt created one of the greatest work wear brands ever. A special preview launch night will be held on the September 20 and the space will be open to the public from September 21-24.
