Known Gallery has released an inside look at the making of “New Mathematics,” a new exhibition by artist Eric Haze. The pieces are based on the interplay of geometric shapes, paying close attention to repetition and balance. The video above sees Haze work with chalk and charcoal, drawing shapes freehand. “New Mathematics” will feature 35 new paintings and 15 new drawings. It will be on exhibit from September 17 to October 8 at Known Gallery in Los Angeles.
