Common's memoir debuts on New York Times best seller list

Big honors for Common today. His autobiography, One Day It’ll All Make Sense, made an impressive debut on the New York Times best seller list, landing at No. 20 on the chart. In order to show his appreciation, the Chicago native sent out a video to his fans earlier today.

“I just want to thank everybody for supporting. Y’all made my book be on the New York Times Best Seller List. So now, I’m a New York Times bestselling author/ Y’all don’t know how much of a blessing that is to me. I feel just grateful to all of those who supported the book, all those who talked about the book. Just thank you. Thank you for those who contributed to the book and all who’ve been a part of this. I just want to let y’all know I’m geeked, I’m on 30, I’m on 100 right now.”
