Lenny Kravitz’s ninth studio album, Black and White America, is set to hit stores on August 30. With less than two weeks away from the release date, two new interesting tracks from the album have surfaced that may appeal to followers of hip-hop. The first song, “Sunflower,” has a little bit of the classic Lenny Kravitz sound, but features a verse from Drake thrown onto it. The second song, entitled “Boongie Drop,” has more hip-hop and reggae elements than the former and features a verse from Jay-Z. Both collaborations may seem a bit odd and forced, but do remember that Mr. Kravitz and Mr. Carter have gotten together a couple of times in the past on each others albums. Give the tracks a listen below, and pre-order your copy of Black and White America here.
