Much like other heritage brands including Carhartt and Red Wing, CAT work boots have become an iconic symbol of the American workwear lifestyle. The heavy-duty footwear brand was certainly familiar to Martine Rose, a British menswear designer who chose to shoot CAT boots in a lookbook highlighting her own collection. Catching wind of this, CAT approached Rose with an idea for a creative partnership between the two brands that would mix her unique design talents with its functional and durable footwear. The result is a new capsule collection for Fall/Winter 2011 that reworks the classic design of the boot while staying true to its qualities and reputation.
