After dropping the video for “California King Bed” a few weeks ago, Rihanna wasted no time in moving on to her next visual effort. To ensure that the momentum continues for her latest album, Loud, the pop star got on the quick turn-around and readied the video for her reggae-infused current single, “Man Down.” Whether or not you’ve heard the song before and know its lyrics, the beginning of the clip may startle you. Even more surprising may be the fact that the violent scene was shown on 106 & Park yesterday during the video’s premiere. Check out the cold-blooded, Anthony Mandler-directed visuals to Rihanna’s “Man Down” above.
