Following up closely on an initial leak last week, Panasonic officially pull the covers off of its latest Micro 4/3rds camera, the DMC GF3. As a new release from the GF line, some aspects remain the same including its 12MP sensor. In an attempt to reduce the camera’s size, even more of the physical aspect has been changed from its predecessor, the GF2. Overall, the camera is 16.7% smaller and 16.2% lighter than the GF2. Other features include 1080/60i video, 3D still photos and an on-board flash. A release is set for July 2011 for black, white, red and brown bodies coupled with a 14mm lens kit ($700 USD) and for the 14-42mm lens kit ($600 USD).
