Björk Launches Biophilia Website

In anticipation of Björk’s multimedia project Biophilia, the Icelandic artist has launched a new website. Offering a recent audio clip of her delving into the much-discussed project and its relation to its predecessor Volta, the site is set to become an integral part of the Biophilia campaign. The press release says:

“A multi-media project encompassing music, apps, internet, installations and live shows, Biophilia celebrates how sound works in nature, exploring the infinite expanse of the universe, from planetary systems to atomic structure.” It also notes that “release dates and further answers will be confirmed shortly.”
