It’s human nature to want to leave your normal life behind and escape for a bit. And while some may get seasick, many others would love to be able to head out on the water for a relaxing sail. As you may know, that is exactly what Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore did in 2009, and their seven-month journey along the North Atlantic coastline was one that changed their lives. As a collective they are not only known as husband and wife, but as Tennis, the surf-pop act that broke out this year with their debut album, Cape Dory. The album was inspired by the couple’s eastern sail, as is the official video for its leading track, “Take Me Somewhere.” Whether you’re prone to seasickness or you’ve just never been presented with the opportunity to hop aboard a boat, now is your chance to make an oceanic escape. Watch the video above to be taken out to the high seas in true nautical fashion—through the lens of a vintage 16mm Bolex camera.
