The Nike Hachi debuts as a new Nike Sportswear chukka lifestyle shoe with design inspiration reminiscent of the Nike Sting running shoe, which turned heads in 1976 with its distinctive one-piece toe box and molded eyelets. The name Hachi originates from the Japanese word bee, fitting of this Summer 2011 shoe sporting a honeycomb toe bumper with debossed custom texture. Subtle design details such as a leather heel pull, molded eyelets and vintage suede further distinguish this classic silhouette contemporized for the future.
