Korn featuring Skrillex - Get Up

In preparation for his set at this weekend’s Coachella festival, Skrillex sets the tone right with his new collaboration with Korn entitled “Get Up.” As one might expect from this noisy get-together, the track has heavy electro beats and guitar frenzy which should be enjoyed in high volume. The band’s frontman Jonathan Davis told Spin that they believed that the Los Angeles producer would come up with the adequate energy to create a song which will land on their upcoming EP.

“I heard a few of Skrillex’s re-mixes and really felt there would be a good chance that he would have the right sensibility to connect us to a new hard sound and direction, but still keeping Korn guitars and our vibe. We were just thinking of trying something new, to be honest, so I had my manager reach out to the Skrillex camp. When we got into the studio the connection was instant!”
