Erykah Badu - Fall In Love (Your Funeral) (Live in Studio)

Let’s face it, anytime Erykah Badu releases a video these days, every fan expects a certain degree of avant-garde creativity and a lot of males might have a certain hope in mind. But instead of fulfilling either with the new visual release for her song “Fall In Love (Your Funeral),” Badu decided to illustrate the song in a more simplistic, intimate manner. The video gives the audience a behind-the-scenes look inside one of her studio sessions, complete with a jet-lagged Jay Electronica plopped on the couch and glimpses of Mars Merkaba, the two-year-old daughter she and he have together. There are also plenty of clips of a top hat-wearing Badu performing the soulful song, which can be found on her 2010 album, New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh).
