In anticipation of the upcoming Depeche Mode remix collection Remixes 2: 81-11 comes this excellent rendition of their Speak & Spell cut “Puppets” by Röyksopp. This should certainly set the mood right for the project which will be released June 6 in the UK and one day later in the U.S. via Mute/Reprise. Further refixes will be contributed by Stargate, Karlsson & Winnberg (aka Bloodshy and Avant of Miike Snow) and Eric Prydz who set out to reinterpret DM classics throughout their three decade-spanning career. In addition, former Depeche Mode members Vince Clarke and Alan Wilder have also been listening to contribute their remixes. Enjoy!
