Kanye West and Jay-Z are not the only prominent rap figures that team up for a joint venture on June 14. News hit the web early today that Eminem and Royce Da 5’9” will join forces for an upcoming EP, which is inspired by their 1999 collaboration “Bad Meets Evil” on Em’s Slim Shady LP. Slated for a June 14 release through Interscope, the piece will offer production work from the likes of 12′s Mr. Porter, Havoc, DJ Khalil and Bangladesh. Read the statements of both rappers below.

“Royce and I started hanging out again and inevitably that led us back into the studio. At first we were just seeing where it went without any real goal in mind, but the songs started to come together crazy, so here we are.
