colette x Baxter of California "Cruel Summer" Candle

colette and Baxter of California collaborate on a new candle offering dubbed “Cruel Summer.” Featuring the sensibilities of both brands on the packaging, the box features a fun retro-esque Cali font with the cleanliness associated with Baxter of California’s aesthetics. The design of the candle came courtesy of Marc Atlan, an art director who’s impressive resume includes COMME des GARCONS, Helmut Lang and Yves Saint-Laurent. The soy max candle’s scents feature “powerful green, leafy top note accented with a citrus lemon undertone. The body of this complex blend is a floral, green bouquet starring brilliant hyacinth, tempered with notes of cyclamen, and accented with a fresh marine accord. These rest on an alluring white musk base, embellished with cedar wood.” Available at both colette and at Baxter Finley in Los Angeles.
