Arcade Fire - Month of May x Ready to Start (Live @ KROQ Studio R)

Feel like experiencing a live acoustic session of a band who turned in one of the best albums last year? Then check out Arcade Fire perform The Suburbs cuts “Month of May” and “Ready to Start” live on the air with Stryker at The World Famous KROQ in anticipation to this year’s Grammy Awards.

The Canadian indie rockers have reason to be self-confident for the award show going down tonight. The Suburbs is nominated for Album of the Year against Eminem’s Recovery, Lady Antebellum’s Need You Now, Lady Gaga’s Fame Monster and Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream. It’s also up for Best Alternative Album alongside Band of Horses’ Infinite Arms, The Black Keys’ Brothers, Broken Bells’ self-titled disc and Vampire Weekend’s Contra. “Ready to Start,” which can be seen above, is in the run for best rock performance by a duo or group. Band member Will Butler does not hide his high expectations for tonight.

“I checked with the London bookies online and we’ve got 9-2 odds, which is not bad. Right when we were nominated, we were 11-1. I wish I’d put my money down then.”
