2012 marks Vans’s foray into paying homage to a rock and roll legend as evidenced by its “Iggy Pop” 106 Vulcanized. Dressed in “total black” like any good musician, the 106 features a leather upper, denim on the interior as well as a classic styled sole. It’s finished off with the iconic singer’s name emblazoned on the tongue, and will be available at select Vans retailers starting in Spring 2012.

This effectively minimizes any extra costs associated with wholesaling to provide the best possible product given the price.
