Vanquish x Converse Skidgrip VQ
Vanquish and Converse recently linked up to arrange a bold adaptation of the low top Skidgrip

Vanquish and Converse recently linked up to arrange a bold adaptation of the low top Skidgrip silhouette. Branded as the Skidgrip VQ, the collaboration retains many of the core elements that have become characteristic of the Japanese label without sacrificing the timeless look and feel of the original Converse sneaker. Dressed in all black, the pair’s outer side panels are made from quilted black leather opposite patent black leather on the interior side. Rounding out the shoe’s vamp, lace eyelets are substituted for silver metal studs. A leopard-print insole and patent leather tongue complete the aesthetic. Limited stock is now available through the Vanquish online store. Retail is set at ¥10,290 JPY (approx. $132 USD).
