Roughly three years ago, Blends came up with the concept of a made in USA campaign to support the American economy and reintroduce the unparalleled work ethic and craftsmanship of American workers to a new generation. Simplicity and minimalism are key aspect of Blends’ design concept, with Tak Kato, Blends’ creative director, picking the Red Wing classic 6” Round Toe Boot with the idea to make them more casual. Choosing to utilize a suede upper, a concept that has never been used on the 6” boots in the USA before, these are strikingly original. Only 150 pairs were produced, with the release set for December 10.
