Benga, one of the producers credited for pioneering the dubstep genre, has given his own take on A-Trak and Zinc’s “Stingray.” Reworking the beat with a grimier, darker sound to match up that deep-sea submarine emergency alarm sample from the original, the release coincides with the news that Benga, alongside longtime partner in crime Skream, have been given a weekly show on the UK’s BBC Radio 1 station commencing in April 2012.
