Daughter - Medicine

On November 21, 21-year-old UK songstress Daughter (real name Elena Tonra) will be releasing her second official EP, The Wild Youth. While two of the project’s four songs, “Love” and “Home,” have already been released, she has been nice enough to bless the world with another. This time it’s the moving ballad “Medicine,” which features minimalistic piano-driven production that compliments the impressive vocals and deep lyrics that Tonra is becoming known for. The sound that has drawn fans and critics alike to her is mellow, raw and emotion-inducing, but this song in particular is especially touching.
