As the song title may suggest, Chiddy Bang’s new track “Ray Charles” takes on the classic piano sound of the famed soul pioneer and align it with their modern day demeanor. The track will certainly draw comparisons with Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” when he sampled “I Got a Woman,” a 1955 hit for Ray Charles, and Jay-Z & Kanye West’s Otis Redding tribute in Watch the Throne. The act’s debut album Breakfast is due for release in February 28, 2012 and the single is available now via iTunes.
