To follow up on an introductory post regarding the “Behind the Berlin Wall” event at Wende Museum, the exhibition itself has now been opened to the public following a special event with museum director Jeremy Jampol and contributing artists D*Face, Herakut and RETNA. The Wende Museum is known for collecting relics from the Cold War. Two years prior Jampol had brought in 10 original pieces of the Berlin Wall to incorporate into a display – now expanding on that conception several contemporary graffiti artists are given the chance to reinterpret the meaning of this significant piece of history.
