High-end watchmakers Audemars Piguet is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its classic Royal Oak model, by releasing a commemorative, limited edition. Mimicking many characteristics of the 1972-originated timepiece, the reworked model features the same 38mm casing, this time welcoming a platinum finish. The wrist-wear is water-resistant up too 50 meters and also highlights glare-proof sapphire crystals on the front and rear. The ultra-thin variation will be appropriately limited to 40 pieces, as to further celebrate the special date.
