An instrumental element in the street art movement and the mind behind the subversive label OBEY, Shepard Fairey recently completed his latest mural located in LA on the former Continental Graphic’s building. The colorful piece is over 30 feet high and was envisioned as part of the District La Brea show by exhibition house MK2 Projects. A hand with a watch lodged inside it is the central image of the mural, bearing the phrase “High Times For Peace.” Fairey himself describes the piece as “pro peace, pro nature.” Take a behind-the-scenes look into the making above.
