Cross-promoting its updated T90 Laser IV soccer boot, Nike Football adopts an innovative social media marketing effort to promote the updated model. The Strike Counter offers an opportunity for the brand’s audience to record and promote their own personal “perfect strike” and compare it with other contributor’s goals in an interactive gallery. Nike previously tapped Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney to reenact his stunning 2010-2011 EPL season goal for “The Perfect Strike” video in conjunction with the T90 Laser IV announcement last week.
