Synonymous with skate and street, cult label Vans launched its OTW collection as a lifestyle line that acts as an incubator for arts, design and lifestyle. For 2011, world-famous tattoo artist Mister Cartoon switches from skin to canvas as he uses the Alomar model as his medium for another outstanding collaboration with the skate brand. As a Vans advocate, Mister Cartoon utilizes embroidery to tag the full-grain leather/high-grade nubuck uppers of the high top with his signature line works before furnishing it with woven lining materials and a custom logo footbed. The Mr. Cartoon x Vans OTW Alomar will be available this month at key retailers including Kicks/HI, Kicks/HI Guam, Fresh Out the Box, Blends and The Vans DQM General.
