We heard the DJ Premier offering to Hyundai’s RE:GENERATION project, now we get Mark Ronson’s unusual musical venture. Combining Erykah Badu and Mos Def on the vocals, Trombone Shorty, the Dap-Kings, and drummer Zigaboo Modeliste to handle the instrumentation, Ronson creates the track entitled “A La Modeliste.” The song’s Southern feel isn’t Ronson’s forte, but the combination of all these talents manages to work out.
